This desk was built for Urinetown's transfer from off-Broadway to Broadway. It is constructed out of birch plywood and MDF. It was built to completion, professionally painted, and then needed to have 5 1/2" cut out of the depth of the desk in order to fit into the wings backstage. I had to cut the backside of the desk off (the side with the cabinet doors), cut down the top, shorten the caster/feet pieces, and then rehang the cabinet doors.

This prop is made out of medical equipment and a heating element from an old stove. Build time was 6 hours.
