Suggest a Tip or Resource!

Have you invented and handy new way to solve a common problem? Do you know of a unique web resource that could be helpful in producing props? I'm looking for helpful pieces of information that can make all of our lives easier.

Here are some criteria on what makes a good tip:

Something you have created that saves time, money, or effort in the management or construction of props.
- A carpentry jig that makes a common task faster to perform
- An organizing system for storage or shop (storing foliage, organizing catalogs, etc)
- A new way to write up a prop list or other paperwork
A product or service provided to another industry that can be adapted for use by prop people
- A new epoxy developed for ship building that works as a protective sealer for an abused prop
- Software developed for tracking inventory that could be adapted to track prop inventory
Web resources that you find extremely helpful
- A web site that tells the history of glassware used for wine through the ages
- A historical re-enactment society dedicated to preserving the way things have been done in the past
- An informational reference page on Mission furniture
